BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech Hokies scored in the 21st minute and then held off the Boston College women's soccer team for a 1-0 win over the Eagles at Thompson Field on Sunday afternoon.
Despite the Eagles holding the 9-6 lead in shots in the first half, it would be Virginia Tech's Emma Pewloski that found the back of the net first. The hosts then held the Eagles off the board for the final 70 minutes of play.
