AMESBURY, Mass. – Hockey East announced on Monday that Boston College freshman Abby Newhook has been named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week.
The St. John's, Newfoundland native tallied three points on two goals and one assist in the BC's weekend sweep of Holy Cross. Newhook scored the game-winning goal in the win at Kelley Rink on Friday night and then scored the game-winning goal and added assist on a key insurance goal in Saturday's road win in Worcester. Newhook finished BC's three-game week with 12 shots on goal and a plus-3 rating.
