CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.: Senior back Frederique Haverhals was named to the preseason All-ACC team as announced by the conference on Friday.
Haverhals, a Warmond, the Netherlands native, has been a critical part of the Eagles' lineup during her career on the Heights. The two-time captain has been a constant presence on both the attacking and defensive corners, being a member of the starting lineup every game of her career.
As a junior captain, she earned NFHCA Third-Team All-America honors, was named to the NFHCA First-Team All-Northeast Region, and collected All-ACC Second-Team honors while starting all 19 games at center back.
