GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Senior captain Frederique Haverhals has been named the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year, headlining a group of five Eagles named to the All-ACC Academic Team. Haverhals joins Janna Anctil '11 as the only Eagles to have received the honor since joining the ACC in 2005.
Haverhals, a two-time captain, led the Eagles in the 2018 season with nine goals, three game-winning goals, 61 shots and 22 total points. She is the only Eagle to have earned All-Northeast Region honors from the NFHCA each year of her career, as well as a three-time NFHCA All-American selection and a two-time All-ACC Team selection.
