WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey freshman Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week after racking up six points on five goals and one assist in a two-win week for the No. 7/7 Eagles.
On Thursday at Holy Cross, Bilka scored four goals in BC's 6-0 win over the Crusaders. She scored the game's first goal – and her first career goal and game-winning goal – with five minutes to play in the opening frame. Bilka then added her second of the game two minutes into the second period and went on to complete the hat trick with a short-handed tally two minutes later.
