AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College forward Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
Bilka registered four assists in BC's 5-2 win at #13 Providence College on Friday and also had a goal in a 2-1 loss to #5 Northeastern in Tuesday night's Beanpot championship game for a five-point week. The senior captain also registered 13 shots on goal and three blocked shots on the week while tying for a league-best with her plus-4 rating.
The Coppell, Texas native set new career-highs in points (39) and assists (27) with her four-assist game and became just the 18th player in program history to reach 125 career points.
