CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Two members of the Boston College field hockey team - Fusine Govaert and Sarah Johnson - were honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as part of its 2021 Division I All-American team, it was announced today.
Govaert was recognized as a First Team All-American - her third NFHCA All-American honor - capping off her highly successful career at Boston College. This past season, Govaert earned First Team All-ACC accolades for the third time in her career and was named to both the 2021 NFHCA Division I Senior Team and All-Northeast Regional squad.
