Box Score Orono, Maine - The Boston College women's hockey team was road-tested at Maine. The Eagles picked up their first Hockey East win of the second half of the season.
The Hockey Commissioner Association Rookie of the Month, Sammy Taber, recorded her first goal of 2024 six minutes into the first period. The Eagle had 13 shots on goal while only allowing Maine five shots on goal in the first period.
During the second period, it was a back-and-forth battle till the final seconds, where Maine scored, knotting it all up going into the last period.
