George McPhee Named GM of the Las Vegas NHL Team

McPhee played for Jerry York at Bowling Green and is the father of incoming BC Hockey player Graham McPhee

As expected, George McPhee has been named the GM of the newest NHL team, which will be located in Vegas.

McPhee spent his college years at Bowling Green playing under Coach York, during which time he won the Hobey Baker award. McPhee spent 7 years playing in the NHL for the New York Rangers before joining the management side of the league.

McPhee began his career with the Canucks, where he assisted Pat Quinn in managing the team.
