It’s a rout. BC dominates Syracuse in the Carrier Dome 58-27. The Eagles posted a school record 691 yards of total offense, led by a ferocious rushing attack. With 35 carries, 242 yards, and three touchdowns, AJ Dillon extends his school touchdown record. Not to be outmatched, David Bailey tallied his own 172 and two touchdown performance.
Big play after big play, the Eagles tormented the Syracuse defense. Both backs busted open for long runs and simply overpowered the Orange defense. Boston College ended with 496 rushing yards.
The Eagles did themselves no favors early on with fumbles on back to back possessions.
