It was quite the Senior Day at Chestnut Hill. After an opening field goal by Louisville, BC took and held the lead for the rest of the contest.
It was a statistically even game for the most part, but the Eagles were able to take advantage of a few critical turnovers to keep the Cardinals at bay.
BC quarterback Phil Jurkovec and running back David Bailey both exited the game about halfway through the third quarter. With the Eagles leading 20-13, Dennis Grosel found himself in a similar position to where he was last season when then BC QB Anthony Brown tragically went down.
