CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – As Boston College's 2017-18 academic year begins, Boston College head baseball coach Mike Gambino welcomes six new faces to The Heights. The freshman class consists of three pitchers and three position players.
"At a time when recruiting classes are judged on size, we are concerned with the quality of student-athletes in our class," head coach Mike Gambino said. "We care about the individual. For us, it's about the right number of players and the right kind of individual who fits our program. We look at character and impact on the field.
