EDMONTON – Four Boston College sophomores are in preparation for the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championships, which begin on Christmas Day and run through Jan. 5, 2021 at Rogers Place in Alberta, Canada. The entire tournament will be carried live in the U.S. on NHL Network.
Forward Matt Boldy, defenseman Drew Helleson and goaltender Spencer Knight will represent the United States, while forward Alex Newhook competes for Canada. While Knight makes his third straight World Junior appearance for Team USA, including the last two as the squad's starting goalie, Boldy, Helleson and Newhook will make their debuts at the annual tournament.
