Boston College pulled off an overtime victory over Boston University thanks to junior Emily McCoy and her two goals. The game started out rough for the Eagles, with Boston getting an early goal in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. Just 10 minutes later, the Eagles earned a penalty corner and McCoy was able to get the ball in the net to tie up the game. Both teams had several good chances in the second half and BC had 15 shots in regulation, but the half ended with the game still 1-1 and went into overtime. Early in overtime, freshman Ymke Rose Gote found an open McCoy, who scored with a quick shot to give the Eagles the overtime victory.
