Boston College began tonight's prime time game against Florida State with some bad news, as star senior defensive end Harold Landry was ruled out with an ankle injury.
But, shortly after, BC's recent offensive explosion, and creative play calling, continued.
While BC's first drive of the night stalled, the Eagles did advance the ball to the FSU 30, thanks in large part to a big run by Jeff Smith on a double-reverse.
Then, on their next possession, the Eagles tweaked that play call to great effect. After a 26-yard run by freshman running back AJ Dillon set BC up in FSU territory, the Eagles again dialed a double-reverse.
