CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior forward registered her second double-double of the season – seventh of her career – with 24 points and 12 rebounds as Boston College (13-5, 2-3 ACC) fell to No. 21 Florida State, 91-71, on Thursday evening at Conte Forum.
Leading three Eagles in double figures, Guy shot 50 percent from the floor (nine-for-18), while knocking down 6-of-9 from the charity stripe. Junior guard continued to stay sharp from the outside, netting 12 of her 18 points from beyond the arc, while junior chipped in 12 points.
Setting the tone offensively for the Eagles, Ortlepp was nearly perfect from the floor, netting 4-of-5, for 10 points to keep Boston College within striking distance, trailing by only eight, after the first quarter.
