Garraud's 28 Leads BC To Hawk Classic Championship
Eagles beat Rider, 112-61 in final at the Hawk Classic.
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Freshman Marnella Garraud scored a career-high 28 points to lead Boston College past Rider, 112-61, in the final of the 25th Annual Hawk Classic hosted by St. Joe's on Sunday afternoon. Boston College is now 6-0 and will host Providence on Tuesday night. Rider dropped to 2-3 on the season.
The Eagles guard hit 8-for-12 from the floor, went 4-for-7 from the field and hit all eight of her free throws and pitched in with six rebounds, four assists and three steals to earn the MVP of the tournament.
