Eagles Win 4-0 Against Illinois State in First Game of Season

TAMPA, FLA– Boston College began their season on Friday in the USF Tournament. The Eagles took the Illinois State Redbirds in the first game of the season and will late face South Florida.

In game one of the day, Sophomore Abby Dunning got the start for BC, She recorded a no hitter with 8 strikeouts in 7 innings pitched. This was her first game of her career pitching all seven eagles and her first no hitter in her career.

The Eagles offense started quick with a 4-0 lead after three innings off 2 RBI and a double from Junior Erika Andal and also a double from Senior Abigail Knight.
