CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College alpine ski team will travel to Carrabassett Valley, Maine this weekend for the Colby Carnival at Sugarloaf Mountain. Competition begins at 9:15 a.m. on Friday (Jan. 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1).
HOMECOMING FOR GUTSTEIN
• Sophomore Trent Gutstein finished 15th overall as the men's alpine team placed ninth in the slalom on Gutstein's home hill at Stowe Mountain Resort last weekend
• The Stowe native's second run in the slalom was the sixth-fastest overall at the annual UVM Carnival
• Men's junior captain Chris Bertram finished 21st among college racers in the slalom.
