BOSTON, Mass. – Kristofer Konradsson scored four minutes into the first half and the Boston College men's soccer team defeated Boston University, 1-0, on Sunday at Nickerson Field.
Boston College is now 2-0, while BU dropped to 0-2. The Eagles will next host Rhode Island on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Boston University opened the game with two chances in the first three minutes but BC goalkeeper Giacomo Piccardo easily handled the pressure.
Konradsson's goal came off a cleared ball by the Eagles on a BU set piece. The Eagles sophomore had space and carried the ball to the middle of the park.
