COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Boston College softball team collected two wins on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Gamecock Invitational, defeating Liberty, 3-0, and Elon, 5-3.
Susannah Anderson and Jenna Ergle led the Eagles, as Anderson picked up two wins on the day and Ergle hit two home runs. Anderson pitched a two-hit complete game shutout against Liberty and followed it up coming in relief against Elon, throwing two innings with four strikeouts.
Ergle went 2/7 on the day, but hit two solo home runs. Her first of the day came against Liberty in the top of the third and the second against Elon in the top of the sixth.
