CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's soccer head coach Jason Lowe announced a new team member, signing 8-year-old Anya Rhodes through Team IMPACT.
Anya, who was diagnosed with Cancer, was officially introduced at a signing day press conference on Sunday, April 16, inside Conte Forum. Anya's siblings, Nadav and Seyla, joined her in signing. She will participate in many activities with the women's soccer team including games, practices, and other team events.
Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multiyear program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country.
