CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA- Boston College defeated the University of Virginia in four sets on Sunday afternoon. Scores of the sets were 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, and 25-19.
Set one was back and forth tying it up three times early in the set. The Eagles took a commanding lead on a 3-0 run, off of a Julia Haggerty ace causing a UVA timeout. The set was secured on a Katrina Jensen kill. Jensen led the set with 14 total attacks.
The Eagles battled point for point with the Cavaliers in the second set, before ultimately falling 25-23.
