CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College defeated Merrimack by a score of 6-1 at the Margot Connell Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon.
BC moves to 1-6 (0-6 ACC) while Merrimack falls to 2-5 (1-0 NEC).
The Eagles won their first game of the season and they did so in convincing fashion. Doubles match wins behind and , as well as and propelled BC towards the doubles point.
Five Eagles registered singles victories today with two of them, and , winning in straight sets. Mullins, Motlagh, and Mendelsohn all won in third set tiebreakers.
