PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Hannah Bilka registered four assists while Abby Newhook scored two goals as the #15 Boston College women's hockey team picked up a 5-2 win over #13 Providence College on Friday afternoon at Schneider Arena.
The Eagles took a 3-0 lead after first period thanks to goals from Gaby Roy, Pyne and Alexie Guay. Providence pulled a goal back in the middle frame but the Eagles responded with two in the early goings of the third before the Friars potted an extra-attacker goal late for the 5-2 final.
