GREENSBORO, N.C. - Boston College women's basketball withstood a late rally to upend No. 14 seed Georgia Tech, 62-57, in the opening round of the Ally 2023 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament.
The Eagles advance to the quarterfinal round to face No. 5 seed Miami tomorrow evening at 8 p.m. on ACC Network. Boston College is now 16-16 on the season and have won back-to-back games.
Dontavia Waggoner, who returned from injury after missing the last nine games, turned in a team-high 16 points off the bench with seven rebounds and three steals.
