Eagles Lose Late To Wisconsin In Frozen Four

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Wisconsin's Melissa Channel scored with 16.2 seconds left in regulation to push No. 1 Wisconsin past No. 4 Boston College in the Frozen Four Friday night at Family Arena.

Junior goaltender Katie Burt saved 35 shots in the game, one shy of her career high, before Channel's game winner in the final seconds.

Wisconsin outshot the Eagles, 36-22, but it was the last shot that mattered. Annie Pankowski threw a pass up to the left point to Channel who shot from the left point. It found space through traffic in behind Burt to give the Badgers the game-winner.
