BC, BU Renew Rivalry on Tuesday
• Boston College returns to action with five home games this week, including Tuesday against local rival Boston University. First pitch from Harrington Athletics Village is at 3 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
• BC went 1-3 last week at home with a 9-1 victory over UMass Lowell on Wednesday before dropping a 5-0 decision to BU last Thursday. Over the weekend, Stony Brook earned a doubleheader sweep on Sunday (4-1, 3-0).
• BU moved to 10-1 on the season after a perfect 3-0 week. The Terriers defeated BC on Thursday before a doubleheader sweep of Stony Brook on Saturday (6-3, 3-0).
