AT BC: Joe Whitney played at BC from 2007-2011. Whitney won 2 NCAA Championships with the Eagles (2008 and 2010). As a freshman, Whitney scored an impressive 51 points for BC (11 goals, 40 assists). Whitney was the 15th player in BC Men's Hockey history to record 100 career assists - he graduated with 102. Whitney was named Captain his senior year.

POST-BC: Whitney played one game with the Portland Pirates following the end of BC's 2010-2011 season, but has spent most of his profession career in the Devils organization.
