CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Georgia Pineau scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Boston College defeated Columbia, 74-60, on Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum in a non-conference game.
Boston College improved to 7-1 and will host Bryant on Thursday night. Columbia is 2-5 and will host Cal Fullerton on Wednesday.
BC built a 21-14 lead after the first quarter as the Eagles shot 50 percent from the floor and hit three three-pointers, two from sophomore Sydney Lowery (13 points). Boston College cooled off in the second quarter but held a 37-31 lead at the half.
