Eagles Host First Place UMass Lowell on Friday Night

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College returns to Hockey East play on Friday night with a visit from 14th-ranked and first place UMass Lowell at Kelley Rink with faceoff scheduled for 7 p.m. Live video is available for free at Collegesportslive.com and pre-game radio coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.com.

• BC is looking to even the two-game regular season series after falling 4-2 at Tsongas Center in November
• The Eagles enter the matchup at 10-12-4 overall and 5-8-3 in Hockey East play, while the River Hawks are first in the league at 11-5-1 with a 14-6-3 overall record
• BC sits in eighth place in Hockey East, six points out of fifth for the final first round bye
• All eight of BC's remaining league games are against teams above it in the standings
