Eagles Host First-Ever EISA Carnival in Slalom at Proctor

ANDOVER, N.H. – Boston College alpine skiing hosted its first-ever EISA carnival over the weekend at Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. The Eagles took third overall in the second women's slalom race, while placing fourth in the other three races.

Sophomore Will Kornya had the best finish of the event, placing eighth overall in the first men's slalom race on Sunday morning. Captains Chris Bertram and Trent Gutstein were 13th and 15th respectively in the opening race, while Spencer Wright finished 18th.

In the second men's slalom race, the Eagles had five skiers finish in consecutive spots from 13th to 17th: Bertram, Zach Simmons, Ben Charleston, Kornya and Wright.
