LA JOLLA, CA-- Boston College took down UC San Diego 6-0 on Friday evening in the first game of three on the weekend. The Eagles improve their record to 9-7 overall and the Tritons move to 7-10.
After both sides went scoreless in the first two innings, BC finally got their offense going in the third off a forced run on a walk on bases loaded to go up 1-0 in the game. Then in the top of the fourth, the Eagles grinded out two more runs to go up 3-0, thanks to a base hit from to send Darien Mcdonough home then a another single from to send in for the score.
