CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Merrimack completed a home-and-home sweep of Boston College on Saturday afternoon with a 5-1 Hockey East victory at Kelley Rink.
The Eagles fell to 2-4-1 (2-3-0 HEA) while the Warriors moved to 6-3-0 (4-1-0 HEA).
Ben Brar gave the Warriors a 1-0 lead 4:33 into the contest, sneaking a wraparound through the five-hole of Mitch Benson at the right post.
Cutter Gauthier answered for the Eagles as he wristed a shot high glove side through a Nikita Nesterenko screen from the top of the right circle.
