Eagles Fall in Series Finale at UVA

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-- Boston College fell in the final game of the three game series against the University of Virginia, Sunday afternoon in Palmer Park.

Virginia is 13-5 on the season and 2-1 in the ACC, while BC moved to 10-7 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

In the last game of the series, Dunning was outstanding, allowing just 4 hits on 106 total pitches over seven innings. Dunning held Virginia to just three hits, up until the Cavaliers scored the game's only run in the sixth inning. Virginia defeated BC 1-0.
