CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Eagles fell in the final game of the series against Syracuse Sunday afternoon at the Harrington Athletics Village.
The Eagles were the first to strike in the bottom of the third, Hannah Slike hit her fifth homerun of the season putting BC ahead 1-0. The Syracuse offense heated up in the bottom of the third adding on four runs, then kept the momentum going adding three in the fifth, one in the sixth, and closing out the game in the seventh on a two-run homer. The Eagles were not able to respond, breaking the Eagles 8-0 home record.
