Box Score SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Boston College fell to 13th-ranked Notre Dame 8-2 on Wednesday night at the Compton Family Ice Arena. The Eagles dropped to 10-9-3 (5-6-2 HEA) while the Fighting Irish improved to 17-7-0 (9-5-0 B1G).
Ryder Rolston netted a hat trick for Notre Dame in the victory, while Matthew Galajda made 40 saves in the Irish net. Senior Marc McLaughlin and sophomore Trevor Kuntar scored for Boston College.
McLaughlin gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead just 17 seconds into the contest, snapping a shot over Galajda's blocker from the high slot for his league-high 17th of the year.
