Eagles Fall 100-95 to Providence in Overtime

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Senior guard Jordan Chatman poured in a game-high 28 points as five Eagles finished in double-figures but it was not enough as Providence captured a 100-95 win in overtime. The Friars hit a three-pointer with less than five seconds remaining to force overtime.

Chatman was 8-of-12 from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the arc to lead the way for the host Eagles.

Jarius Hamilton contributed seven key points over the final five minutes of the game. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Eagles (6-2) as the visiting Friars improved to 7-2.
