WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Boston College women's basketball team heads into the ACC Tournament with momentum after a 73-63 triumph at Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon in LJVM Coliseum.
BC ends the regular season with a 15-16 mark and 5-13 record in the ACC. Wake Forest falls to 14-15 and 4-14 in the league.
Maria Gakdeng netted a career-high 22 points on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting from the field with six rebounds, tied a personal best with four assists and blocked four shots. The sophomore scored 19 of her points in the second half and hit all seven shots attempts.
