TEMPE, Ariz. – The Boston College women's tennis program has earned recognition as an All-Academic Team, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Thursday. Additionally, four Eagles were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for their work in the classroom: Micayla Casella, Marion Conklin, Laura Lopez and Maria Ross.
The ITA All-Academic award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.2 or above. In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.
