At No. 1 singles, No. 72 took No. 8 Carol Lee to a third set after battling back with a 6-4 win in the second set, yet Lee prevailed in a third-set tiebreak.
The Eagles (8-6, 1-5) will continue their road trip on Sunday against Clemson.
