CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Boston College came up short in their first meet of the new year, falling 201-92 against Miami on the women's side and 185-73 against SMU for the men.
Sophomore Mary Kate Leonard secured a victory for the Eagles in the 200 IM with a time of 1:43.03 - dropping 33.72 seconds off of her previous time to beat the second-place finisher by over 20 seconds.
The men's 400 Free Relay team of Jack Doyle, Matt Szekely, Bryce Henkel, and Charlie Clark also secured a first-place finish for the Eagles with a time of 3:08.
