Eagles Drop 286th Battle of Comm Ave to Terriers

BOSTON – Boston College dropped a 6-3 final against No. 13 Boston University in Hockey East play on Saturday night in the 286th Battle of Comm Ave at Agganis Arena.

The Eagles (11-17-5, 6-12-3 HEA) suffered their first defeat to the Terriers at Agganis since 2017, snapping a four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1).

Luke Tuch and Dylan Peterson both scored twice for BU (18-10-3, 13-6-3 HEA) in the victory, while senior netted a pair of goals in his first game for the Eagles since New Year's Eve.

Boston University stormed out to a 3-0 lead through 20 minutes on goals from Tuch, Peterson and Wilmer Skoog, two of which came 15 seconds apart in the final two minutes of the frame.
