NEWTON, Mass. – The Boston College field hockey team defeated Maine on Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Newton Field Hockey Complex, 5-3, to kick off its Spring season.
Jaime Natale led the way for BC, scoring two goals and adding an assist, while Jonna Kennedy made five saves in 60 minutes of action.
Natale opened the scoring off a pass from Nell Webber 1:47 into the game before Maine would answer with five minutes left in the first period.
BC then scored three goals in 10 minutes beginning with a shot off the stick of Elizabeth Warner.
