NEWTON, Mass. – The fourth-seeded Boston College lacrosse team defeated the fifth-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 21-10, to make its fourth-straight final four on Saturday, May 22 at the Newton Lacrosse and Soccer Field.
Charlotte North had a record-setting day, scoring eight goals and adding an assist. She broke the NCAA Tournament record for goals in a single tournament, totaling 23 in the three games so far. She breaks a record set by Katrina Dowd and Selena Lasota, who both scored 22 in a single tournament. North now has 94 goals this year, which ties her with Sam Apuzzo's record for goals in a single season, and is six short of the NCAA record of 100.
