Eagles Crush Orange for First ACC Win

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's basketball team put forth a team-centric performance in a convincing 95-71 win over Syracuse on Thursday evening in Conte Forum.

The Eagles improve to 10-4 and pick up their first ACC win of the season, while Syracuse falls to 8-6 and 1-3 in league action.

It was another balanced night in scoring, where four players scored in double figures and two others scored nine points. BC assisted on 23 of its 38 field goals and scored at least 95 points for the second time this season.

Maria Gakdeng fired in a career-high 21 points (15 in the second half) and tied a personal best with nine rebounds.
