CHESTNUT HILL, Mass – Boston College took down Providence on Wednesday evening. The Eagles now hold a 20-22 record while the Friars go to 12-25.
The Eagles found their confidence at the plate against Providence today, they recorded a season-high 11 hits, including a three run home run from Junior Nicole Giery and a two run shot from Senior Gianna Sarlo. This was Sarlo's first home run of the season and Giery's fourth. The Junior has been on a roll lately recording one or more hits in the last five straight games.
