KINGS POINT, N.Y. -- After earning a third-place finish in the Women's Fleet Race Nationals last week, the Eagles finished off their 2023 season with a 13th-place finish in the Open Fleet Race Finals on Friday afternoon. Boston College booked their trip to the finals round after a ninth-place finish in the Western Semifinal on Wednesday afternoon, earning themselves two more days of competition in the Open Fleet Race National Championship.
With eight top-ten finishes across both divisions on Thursday and Friday, BC finished ahead of Penn, Rhode Island, Navy, Miami, and St. Mary's College of Maryland in the 2023 finals.
