Eagles Complete First Day of Competition at Stanford Invitational

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College women's track & field team opened its 2019 outdoor season on Friday at the Stanford Invitational.

Paige Duca finished sixth in the invitational 1,500m field. Duca clocked a time of 4:21.16.

Julia Lyons finished seventh in the invitational long jump, with a leap of 5.81m (19'00.75"). Her best mark of the competition came on her first attempt.

Emeline Delanis toed the line in a star-studded 10,000m field and opened her outdoor season with a time of 33:07.85.

Jessica Creedon competed in three events - the high jump, as well as the 100m and 400m hurdles.
