Eagles Come Up Short at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Boston College men's tennis fell 7-0 on the road to Virginia Tech on Friday at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center in ACC play. The Hokies improved to 14-5 (4-3 ACC) while the Eagles dropped to 5-11 (0-8 ACC).

Max Mendelsohn forced a third set at No. 3 singles against Carlo Donato but lost the final set 6-3. Alexander Chieffalo won his first set 7-5 against Freddy Mesmer before falling in a third set superbreaker.

The Eagles return to Boston to face No. 44 Harvard on Sunday (March 31) at the Murr Center.
